Alsace, an engaging combination of Germanic reliability Located in eastern France, Alsace is the smallest French region (40 miles long by 16 miles wide) but one of the most significant cultural landscapes in Europe. The Celts, the Romans, the Allemannians and the Franks have left their marks for hundreds past centuries all along the Upper Rhine left bank. Influenced by both French and German culture, Alsace has its own language and own mentality.

Alsace is probably one of the most traditional and astonishing Regions of France. Easily linked to Paris by TGV or the Bale international airport, Alsace remains a perfect week-end getaway destination, especially at the spring & fall.
You will be hosted in a beautiful 18th century house, restored and decorated by its owners Sylvie & Robert. Sylvie is a great cooker and she is leading cooking classes with traditional receipes of Alsatian cuisine. 
It combines visits and excursions, conferences, wine tastings and cooking classes. You will be hosted in a charming three-star hotel, a half-timbered building located in the historic quarter of Colmar close to the Interlinden Museum and "Petite Venise" famous for its canals. Anny Mayer's cooking school is downtown Colmar, few steps from your hotel. She's famous for her very refined cuisine. Capital of the Alsatian wines, the city of Colmar has a perfect location to explore the Route des Vins and medieval villages nearby.
Better than in Provence, Alsace has been kept the traditions alive especially for Christmas, with great food and home decoration. We have customized a unique culinary program in Colmar with specific cooking classes featuring noble products. Within a week, you will share the secrets of Anny’s cuisine, and participate to workshops that will give you ideas for decorating your home and creating nice ornaments by your own.
