You intend to visit France in the near future, and choose Paris as your final destination.
You are a food & wine lover, and you want to combine the exploration of the both French culture and cuisine through classes, tastings and visits.
The Lifestyle Vacations “Cooking Adventure in Paris” program is definitely yours!
This program is scheduled on a 5-day / 4-night basis. It includes three hands-on cooking classes followed by tasting lunches or dinners, one market visit with the chef, one half-day private gourmet tour, the welcome dinner on arrival.
Your location : Luxury B&B “Maison d’Hôtes” in Paris or 3-star hotel in the Latin Quarter
While in Paris, you will be welcomed to a conveniently located luxury B&B in the beautiful artistic and alive districts of Montmartre, Opera, Saint Germain or Le Marais that preserves the Parisian lifestyle and charm. You will be granted a nicely decorated room or suite with all comfort and modern amenities. Each one has its own private bathroom. Delicious breakfasts include home-made cakes, brioches or croissants, as well as the freshest produces.
In case of late booking and B&B are all full, you will be granted a charming accommodation at a 3-star design hotel located in the Latin District, nearby Monge and the lively rue Mouffetard.
  
Your cooking school : Paris Gourmand Opera with chef Myriam
Classes are intimate, limited to 6 participants, and are taught in English. The kitchen is spacious with modern cooking equipments and professional appliances, set at Myriam’s home, a beautiful apartment nestled in a historic Hausmannian building with a patio garden. The kitchen is separated to the dining room (with a fireplace) where the participants can sit and enjoy the fruits of their labor afterwards. Classes are run in the morning or in the evening depending on the itinerary, and lasts between 2 hours and half and 3 hours. Classes celebrate the delightful French cuisine with regional specialities. A typical French menu includes a starter, a main course and a dessert. Evening classes are followed by a food & wine pairing dinner. Gourmet tours are escorted by chef Myriam or by Corinne, owner of Lifestyle Vacations. The food market on Saturday is escorted by the chef.

DETAILED ITINERARY
> DAY 1 (Wednesday) : Welcome to Paris!
Arrival to Paris Charles de Gaulle or Orly aiport. Private transfer upon request.
Check in at the B&B after noon. Relax or take a little walk nearby to enjoy the atmosphere of the lively Paris.
Welcome dinner at 7:30pm in a typical Parisian bistrot nearby the B&B.
Overnight at the B&B
> DAY 2 (Thursday) : Morning Gourmet Tour / Afternoon Cooking Class & Dinner
After your breakfast, you will join Corinne or Myriam for a unique Gourmet Tour in Paris right and left bank. You will explore Les Halles district and the ultra-charming rue Montorgueil where friendly merchants display their goods on the cobbled street, as well as the fascinating nineteen-century galleries and covered arcades which link the grands boulevards to the Palais Royal. The tour continues left bank… headquarters of the master pastry chef Pierre Hermé and the talented chocolate maker Jean-Charles Rochoux. The tour starts at 10:00am and ends at 1:00pm after we take the friendly glass of wine with snacks . Pastries, chocolate, cheese, wine, spices, etc. you will enjoy food & wine tastings all along your tour.

Afternoon free for shopping and visits.
At 5:30pm, after washing hands and wearing your apron, you will start your first hands-on class which is followed by the dinner (wine and mineral water are included).
This class is dedicated to a region of France with its specialities.

> DAY 3 (Friday) : Morning Cooking Class & Lunch / Wine Class & Tasting
After your breakfast, you go to the cooking school to partake your second cooking class including a starter, a main course and a dessert. Tasting lunch follows, wine is included.
Class is scheduled from 10:30am to 1:30pm
Afternoon free shopping and visits.
From 5:00 to 7:00pm, join our sommelier Olivier at the Paris Wine School in the 11th district to indulge in the great world of the French wines, from Bordeaux to Burgundy, Champagne, Alsace, the Loire Valley, the Côtes de Provence, the Côtes du Rhône, the Beaujolais, the South West, etc. The two-hour English-speaking class is a Grand 7, a conference and tasting of seven different wines including some grands crus. With a unique and refreshing approach, our sommelier explains how to read a label and how to navigate a wine list. You also learn the wine techniques and be guided in the food and wine harmony.

> DAY 4 (Saturday) : Market Visit with the Chef / Morning Cooking Class & Lunch
After your morning breakfast, chef Myriam will take you at your B&B for a food market visit, followed by a cooking class and lunch. You meet her at 8:30am. It’s early but for sure you will love this unique experience in visiting a typical Parisian open-air market, and buying with the chef the fresh products that you will cook at the school afterwards. Back to the school at 10:30am you learn how to cook the freshest produces the chef just bought at the market. Once again, the class celebrates the delightful cuisine of a region of France. Tasting lunch follows. Wine is included. The class and lunch ends at 1:30pm

Metro tickets (10 per person) are offered.
