The Bordeaux region is naturally elegant, especially when you enter in the prestigious vineyards In the heart of Margaux, you will be dazzled by the beauty of a private château on your left which will be your home for a week !
Entirely restored, the château provides luxurious rooms and suites, with a refined decoration that brings the guests on a world tour, from Japan to Italy reminding that Bordeaux and its region has always gained an international recognition. By enrolling this Lifestyle Vacations' program, the château will be yours only. Besides your classes and visits, you would have the opportunity to relax in the living room or in the garden, on the terrace or around the pool if the whether allows.
  
This program is designed for food & wine lovers, combining the exploration of cooking and wines Bordeaux Grand Crus among the First and Second Growths of Medoc and Saint-Emilion. With a top english-speaking executive chef from the Bordeaux Culinary Institute, you will learn to cook succulent Southwest cuisine, in the château's kitchen. The cooking class is followed by a lunch. Afterwards, your guide will take you for a wine château's visit including an instruction in wine tasting techniques, food & wine pairing, and other wine and gastronomy topics. One full-day is dedicated to Saint-Emilion.

SAMPLE ITINERARY
> Day 1 (Sunday) : Welcome at Bordeaux’ airport and private transfer to Margaux Installation at the château. If you’re not too tired you could visit the wine-château (about one hour). Dinner and night at the property.
> Day 2 (Monday) : Morning cooking class for a three-hour teaching. After your lunch at the château, your guide will take you for your second wine-château’s visit on the island… Before dining in a typical restaurant nearby, you will have a relaxing time. Night at the property
> Day 3 (Tuesday) : Morning cooking class with your chef, followed by a lunch.
The afternoon is dedicated to the visit and wine-tasting of two Grand Crus châteaux in Pauillac and Margaux. Dinner by your own (you could choose among the restaurants of the village as listed). Night at the property.
> Day 4 (Wednesday) : No cooking class today… due to the full-day excursion to the Saint-Emilion, whose the vineyard and landscape are listed by the UNESCO as World Heritage. You will visit the castle on arriving. After your lunch, you will explore the old-city and make some shopping too !
Dinner by your own. Night at the property.
> Day 5 (Thursday) : This morning will be your third cooking-class. After your lunch, you will discover the Margaux’s vineyards by walking or by riding with bicycles, off the beaten tracks.

> Day 6 (Friday) : Difficult to announce your last cooking lesson… but for sure the Southwest cuisine would have no secrets for you anymore !
After your lunch, you will explore the Château Lanessan’s vineyard in an elegant horse-drawn carriage that will ride you to the great horse museum ; the visit is followed by a wine-tasting. On the way back to Margaux, you will stop to a Saint-Julien Grand Cru for a visit and wine tasting.
Farewell dinner and night at the property.
> Day 7 (Saturday) : After your breakfast, private transfer to Bordeaux’ airport or station.
